Citizens of Heaven ft. Jennah Hollo – Heart of The Matter – Episode 56

For so many of us we identify with our professions or our titles or even as a nation.  The bible takes a metaphor and gives us an understanding that spiritually we are citizens of Heaven and our identity is in who God says we are.   We unpack this topic a little more in our series on identity.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, and in all the “stuff” that comes with life.  We identify ourselves by our jobs, titles, or even as a nation.  But what if I told you that for every one of us, our true identity is in who God says we are?

The Bible takes a metaphor and gives us an understanding that spiritually we are citizens of Heaven and our identity is in who God says we are.  That’s right—you don’t have to be perfect or set your goals too high or try to be someone else… because when it comes down to it, we are all the same!
